Black Swan Site

The "Firefly" project has been added to Odyssey's shipwreck project roster. BDJ Discovery Group has assigned all of its rights to Odyssey on this project, which has already produced a small number of gold and silver artifacts. Read the complete press release here.

Odyssey's "Black Swan" project, which yielded over 500,000 silver coins weighing over 17 tons, worked gold, and other artifacts from a Colonial period site is believed to be the largest collection of coins ever recovered from a deep ocean site.

Don't miss your chance to own a piece of Civil War and movie history! Purchase an authentic 1861-0 silver Seated Liberty half dollar minted by the Confederate States of America during the Civil War along with a limited edition authorized reproduction of the Knights of the Golden Circle pin featured in National Treasure: Book of Secrets. Only 112 sets were created - once they are gone, they will not be reissued!

When is a United States coin NOT a United States coin? It's not a trick question, but an amazing fact of American history. The year 1861 saw the mintage of silver Seated Liberty Half Dollars at the New Orleans Mint by three sovereign governments: the Union, the State of Louisiana and the Confederate States of America. The recovery of a cache of these coins from the SS Republic provided the remarkable opportunity to determine which government produced each coin. And now you have an opportunity to acquire coins minted by each government!
